Karl Trautsch Complete Edition
For a long time, within the framework of the scholarship program of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, Dávid Spischak has been researching the musical legacy of Karl Trautsch, who introduced the modern double bass in Hungary as a teacher of the National Conservatory from 1859.
The first volume of the Karl Trautsch Complete Edition will soon be available, which presents the life and work of the famous and excellent bass player and teacher. The volume will be published in three languages, Hungarian, German and English, and will be available electronically here on the website.
